United Unveils New Lounge Concept

United Airlines unveils the latest design lounge concept with the opening of ‘United Club Lounge’ in Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The airline stated that the new design prototype will be used when building and renovating airport lounges worldwide.

The United Club Lounge frames into a 13,300 square foot reflecting the decors and interiors of flight and travel. The United Club features an expensive bar and lounge area along with redesigned furniture and dynamic lighting. The furniture focuses on greater ease and comfort to relax. Moreover, the lounges are facilitated with power outlets, Wi-Fi services and workstations for customers to work in relaxed, fully equipped environments. All United Club lounges will be accompanied with a complementary food and beverage menu.

The airline stated its spending to be more than $50 million in 2013 to renovate the 51 United Club lounges.
