Buenos Aires; a magnificent destiny to know about

South America is a magnificent destiny to know. Baires is a nickname that the city Buenos Aires in Argentina holds, and also has a plenty of places to visit and let me state a few of those; the gastronomy is marvellous and exquisite; the people are kind and the weather is variable but doesn’t matter the season you go there, you’ll have a time of excellence.

This time my travel agents at “Travel Center UK” took me to this part of South America and it was a wise decision as well. Good investment in my travel agenda and one city less on my list. I travelled with my brother; it was a birthday gift to him. He’s already 21 and that’s mean he’s ready to go out and fight against the world. We both were really curious on this trip because we’ve never been in Argentina, so the surprise was for the both of us.

Our first stop was in The Obelisk, an important monument to the Argentines inaugurated in 1936 to remind them the fourth centenary of the foundation of the city. The queue we waited to enter the Obelisk was huge but by the moment we were there, we witnessed the complete uniqueness. My brother knew the world and I was part of it. Once you get to the top, the view is memorable and breath-taking, we took a lot of pictures, must be more than fifty, LOL.

To be honest, I’m not a religious person but my brother is into it, he’s like – ‘Everything has to do with religions’. So, in order to quench the knowledge thirst of my brother, we went to Metropolitan Cathedral. An incredible church, the energy inside it is rare but it feels good. There are plenty of stained glass, paintings, candlesticks, saint’s statues, etc. My brother felt as if he was in Disneyland, an awkward comparison, but that’s how he is.  We heard a priest giving a lecture about the life of Jesus Christ and his mother Mary. I must admit it was pretty interesting even though I’m not a follower of the Jesus’ life.

The food in Argentina is quite variable due to the mixture of its culture. A lot of immigrants have made to this city their home and in return, they give the best of their cuisine.  We are meat lovers so we were looking to satisfy our stomach with a big steak. We ate ribs with a nice salad made of tomato and lettuce; for drink we ordered a nice and cold beer.

The truth is Buenos Aires is a great city to come, even to live. Plenty of sites to visit, plenty of food to taste, plenty items to buy; as my leftover family members always need souvenirs as they stayed at home while we enjoyed our incredible trip. My brother fell in love with Baires that he’s already making plans for the next trip with all the family. I could only tell him not to forget to call the travel agency “Travel Center UK” because they are the incredible team responsible for this extraordinary journey of two brothers.

‘Travel Center UK’, you guys have kept your promise. You made this happen – in return, you get our gratitude. Good Luck, ‘Travel Center UK’ team – we will be back!
