Asia’s First Legoland Opened in Malaysia

The first Lego theme park opened in Malaysia on 15 September. This is the sixth of its kind after theme parks in Denmark, Florida, Britain, California and Germany.

The Legoland has over 40 rides, thrills and attractions including the Dragon Roller Coaster, Duplo Playland and giant Lego castle. Rides are for children of 2 years to 12 years old however, there are ample attractions for families. The Legoland separates into seven sections including Lego Kingdom, Lego City, Lego Technic and Miniland.

The Miniland is home to a series of world-renowned Asian landmarks such as Petronas Twin Towers, Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, India’s Taj Mahal, Singapore’s One Fullerton and Marina Bay and Great Wall of China. These masterpieces were recreated utilising over 25 million Lego bricks.
