Queen’s Cup Hua Hin International Triathlon 2012

Thailand enjoys a vibrant event calendar throughout the year. Amid the celebrations, sporting events are one of the major attractions.

Successfully commencing for the 4th consecutive year, Queen’s Cup Hua Hin International Triathlon 2012 is indeed a sportive event. The Triathlon will be hosted on 19 August at the fishermen village of Kao Tao, outskirts of Bangkok (200km) yet closer to the city of Hua Hin.

The Triathlon aims to attract over 500 participants from all corners in the world making it one of the largest triathlons in Southeast Asia. The Triathlon is open to both individuals and teams, which includes swimming (1.5 km), biking (41 km) and running (12 km).

The event draws spectators from all over Thailand and worldwide. The Hua Hin Municipality, Sport Bicycle Company and Tourist Authroity of Thailand and Thai Hotel Association support the Queen’s Cup Hua Hin International Triathlon 2012.
