Air France and KLM to offer wifi internet services

Air France KLM is one of the leading French-Dutch airlines headquartered in Paris. Air France KLM is the result of the merger in 2004 between Air France and KLM. However, the airline company has taken measures to go in to trial in enabling wifi services and mobile connectivity.

Air France and KLM has partnered with Panasonics Avionics to operate on the trial in February 2013 to enable wifi connectivity and mobile services to passengers. The success will eventually able passengers to get the latest updates, news online, internet browsing as well as sending and receiving text messages and emails. The trial and error program will be starting the beginning of next year on two B777-300 aircrafts operated by each. The services will be provided to all travel classes, especially on long haul flights, and anticipates positive feedback from passengers. Furthermore, the specifically designed in-flight website will offer an array of services to passengers including new TV Channels and information regarding airlines, destinations and time schedules.
