Córdoba, The representation of beauty in one place

I invited my grandmother to spend a few days in the city of Cordoba, she loves to walk and travel so I was able to plan together with my travel agentsTravel Center UK a trip to this beautiful city that offers a super attractive tourism that is characterized by different systems of the west and northwest. This is my third time traveling via “Travel Center UK” team. Since the first and the second times were awesomely planned and guided by the team, I convinced my granny to book the tickets with “Travel Center UK” team.

At the beginning my granny was a little hesitant; however, by seeing them planning the trip and the way they supported us, she was glad and patted me on my back with a ‘Good Job’ smile. We reached the wonderful city of Córdoba. Its forest and green vegetation calls the beauty, its rivers and streams are beautiful besides the kindness of the climate and the natural landscapes which make this city a magnet for its visitors during almost all the year.

We stayed at the Hotel Sol de Piedra, it is a beautiful hotel that has an excellent location as it is close to the main tourist attractions. Our room was very nice, spacious and comfortable, it has a super relaxing Jacuzzi and the hotel service is available 24 hours a day to support any of the guest’s needs. What we liked the most was the thematic decoration of the floors that contain the history of Cordoba, which was indeed very original.

We started our tour by visiting the Castle of Valle Hermoso, this as its name says it is a beautiful medieval castle that is located in the mountains. It was built in 1948 and preserves historical and cultural aspects. The most incredible thing about the castle is that it has 80 rooms and a party room with capacity for 800 people. It is currently a luxury hotel & Spa. My grandmother and I were able to enjoy the services offered by the spa with a relaxing massage that made us like floating in the sky. It also has a heated swimming pool; Jacuzzi; sauna; Solarium of winter; Relaxation area; Massotherapy and professional gym with assisted machines.

Then we visited the Rocsen Multifaceted Museum, which is an attractive museum founded in 1969 that has an exhibition of more than 20 thousand pieces from around the world referring to various areas. At seeing them I did a trip in time, as it is a museum that pretends to teach the diverse cultures of the humanity. It has an area of 1530 m2 that has a value in the areas of archeology, entomology, anthropology, ethnology and history. What I liked about the museum was the objects related to photography and its evolution through humanity, it was a very interesting exhibition to see how technology has changed the way we see the world.

We ate at the restaurant San Honorato, a very elegant restaurant where you can enjoy some delicious dishes. You can also enjoy a good wine accompanied by an atmosphere of harmony and sobriety. Order the famous Argentine Roast where the meat was both juicy and delicious. They also serve dishes such as Pickled Aubergines, Carbonada and Chinchulines.

Finally, we visited the La Vina Dike; this is a great work where the Traslasierra Valley is shown. It was built in 1944 and what is most impressive about this engineering work is its large dimensions. It has a wall of 107 m in height, which catalogs it as the highest in the country. One of the things that completely dazzled me was its panoramic view as it has a beautiful landscape of the hills of Achala. The whole dam has become an incredible tourist attraction. We were able to take the tour to all dike which was wonderful as we could appreciate it in its entire splendor.

At the moment I’m writing this article, my granny also wanted to say thanks to the “Travel Center UK” team. Please accept our gratitude! Thanks for the most beautiful times. We happily recommend you and will book our future flights and hotels with you as well. Thank You!
