Auckland Festival of Photography

It’s back for the 9th successful time inviting all artists, art lovers, enthusiasts and students and everyone else to be there at the Auckland Festival of Photography. June is the month to be in Auckland to read the stories out from thousands of photographs. It’s all about how you view the world through the lens of your camera. The festival unfolds 400 photography exhibitions and events for everyone out there who loves a glimpse. It’s an almost month long photography pomp and you wouldn’t want to miss it. Exhibitions of signature artists include Peter Peryer, John Turner and Daniel Crooks.

Adding more fun to the photography festival is the Nikon Auckland Photo Day 2012. Open to everyone and anyone who loves to click around, here’s an opportunity to capture an image which reflects their Auckland. Capture what you think is the best that reflect Auckland. You can be an amateur or a professional, if your image is more than impressive then you’ll walk away with the 1st prize at the Nikon Auckland Photo Day.
