Emirates Launches Second Destination In Philippines

Emirates announces the launch of services to the second destination, Pampanga, in Philippines starting 1 October 2013. The airline will be flying daily, non-stop services and will be operated by a two class Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft.

Clark International Airport is located in the province of Pampanga, Central Luzon. The destination is 80 km distant to the capital city and the first destination of Emirates, Manila. Additionally, Emirates will be operating Emirates SkyCargo allowing more than 160 tonnes of cargo capacity each way weekly.

The airline aims to support the export industry of Philippines as selects the province of Pampanga as a strategic location. Central Luzon is a renowned for two premier economic zones – Clark Freeport Zone and Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Besides the importance of economic hub and strengthen economic ties, the region is popular for stunning coastline and breathtaking sights of an active stratovolcano, Mount Pinatubo.
