Abu Dhabi Launches New Guide to Oasis City of Al Ain

The Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority launches a new compact, fold out map to the city to the Oasis city of Al Ain. Available in both English and Arabic, the map was developed in consultation with all stakeholders and the Al Ain Municipality.

Being the second largest city, the map open its doors highlighting the city’s breathtaking ambience, history and heritage sights and the unique culture. Al Ain was the first of Abu Dhabi’s city destinations to enjoy the declaration of UNESCO Heritage Sites.

Tourists are welcome to visit some of the famous UNESCO heritage sites including the historic fort of Jahili Fort and the unique falaj irrigation system.

Other attractions unveiled to visitors featuring 3D representations in the map are Al Ain Oasis, Al Ain Paradise Park, Shaikh Zayed Palace Museum, Al Qattara Fort which is converted in to a art gallery, highest peak in the emirati Jebel Hafeet and the Al Ain Zoo with its newest attraction the Hippo Exhibit. Amidst the sightseeing, history and culture, adventure travellers can enjoy enthralling activities at the Wadi Adventure Aqua Park.
