Resort World Sentosa Opens in December

The world largest oceanarium will be opening its doors to public this December, Singapore. The $ 7 billion Marine Life Park will be one of the biggest attractions by concept and scope. It is also the last attraction to open by Resorts World Sentosa.

The grand opening ceremony will be held on 7 December. Celebrating through a 12 minute firework extravaganza, public performances, international performances and for the first time a performance by the world renowned soprano sager Sarah Brightman together with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. The celebrations will be followed by a gala dinner of more than 1000 invited guests at the Resorts World Convention Centre.

The Marine Life Park houses more than 100,000 marine animals ranging over 800 species in more than 60 litres of water. Expecting a 16 million boost of visitor numbers with its launch in 2013, the Adventure Cove Waterpark and the SEA Aquarium will be two of the biggest attractions.

The Adventure Cove Waterpark features the first hydromagnetic water coaster ride which is the first in Southeast Asia. The Rainbow Reef is another attraction, which allows enthusiasts to snorkel among the vibrant marine life. SEA Aquarium keeps you from getting wet with the world’s largest viewing panel to enjoy sights of over 100,000 aquatic creatures.
