Kuwait Airways Likely to Report a Loss of $ 282 million

The national carrier of Kuwait, Kuwait Airways has recorded a loss in all but one in the past 21 years costing to more than $ 280 million (80 million Kuwait Dinars). The loss is primarily due to rising costs relating to salaries of crewmembers and maintenance costs.

The airline further mentions to ground ageing aircrafts in their fleet. Two Boeing aircrafts acquired twenty years ago will be stopped due to major technical issues for the past few years. Alarming safety conditions has arisen with repeated malfunctioning issues.
