Ciudad Mitad del Mundo

A national landmark in Quito, Ciudad Mitad del Mundo features the Monument to the Equator that highlights the exact location of the equator. This iconic structure also comprises the Museo Etnográfico Mitad, a Museum that exhibits the indigenous ethnography of Ecuador. This monument has played a significant role in the development of the area’s geography.

Compañía de Jesús

Basílica del Voto Nacional

Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa

Ilaló

An inactive volcano, Ilalo is now a green fertile valley with a beautiful climate. The volcanic complex features a small caldera and a lava dome.
