Holidays To Valparaiso
It's Never Too Late To Book Your Holiday deals
Valparaiso is a major city in Chile. It is important as a seaport and centre of education in the country. The Greater Valparaiso metropolitan area is the largest in Chile after Santiago, the capital. It is one of the most important seaports in the South Pacific. During the 19th century, it was the last stop for many ships travelling through the Straights of Magellan from the Pacific to the Atlantic Oceans. This led to the city going through an economic boom. The city was known as “Little San Francisco” and “Jewel of the Pacific” by international sailors during this time period. It also attracted European immigrants in its golden era. Holidays to Valparaiso are all about culture, architecture, and natural beauty of the city and the surrounding area. The city’s multi coloured buildings – both modern and historical – add a sense of style and class to a city that does not lack for either.
