Holidays To Doha
It's Never Too Late To Book Your Holiday deals
Travel Center offers low cost holidays to Doha, a fast developing city that was once a fishing village and became more recognized in 1825 as a hub for cultural development. Today the city’s skyline is full of tall buildings emitting beacons of light signifying beauty and progression. Mornings here can be spent shopping at the many souks, afternoons discovering the vast surrounding deserts and evenings enjoying a fine dinner and experience the cuisine at one of its many restaurants. It is becoming an attractive destination to holidaymakers around the world very fast. If you are looking for an option that differs from the traditional beach break then Doha is the place for you with great hotels and prominent historical gems. One of the most traditional marketplaces especially great to visit if you are on holiday is the Souq Wakif which historically was where the Bedouin people would come to trade sheep and goats. Today the streets of this marketplace are filled with souvenirs and local goods. For a dose of art and a look into the traditions of the city visit the Musuem of Islamic Art . For a little bit of adventure you will have to move out of the city to the surrounding desert for excursions where you can go exploring on dune buggies and camels during which you may also come across the Singing Sand Dunes which just as its name suggests hums in the low humidity when the wind is strong.
