Dalyan is a big village situated around 60 minutes’ drive from Marmaris. This place is almost unblemished by the hectic life of the exterior world and has kept its tranquility. It has an attractive 7 km long shoreline that is famously known as the ‘turtle beach with golden sand’.

Marmaris Mountains

Providing picturesque magnificent terrain, away from life in the city, spend some time out on the rocky land with encircling greenery. The hike would provide lovely sights of the village and several glittery lakes in the distance. Nature-fans would also locate a profusion of wildlife and birdlife in the region.

Dancing Fountains

Quite a prime tourist attraction, what may hit you as a packed plaza with a fountain in the day changes into a center for music and laughter by night. At about half past eight every night, lights and music bring life to the fountain and turns into the scenery for some of the town’s shows and performances.

Icmeler Beach

The beach is moderately small, but even in the peak season you’ll discover lots of room. The scenery is clearly stunning, with rolling pine jungles and Marmaris is noticeable across the cove. There are many watersports obtainable and it could be quite energetic at night, but never disorderly.

Medieval City of Rhodes

With the Palace of the Grand Masters, the Great Hospital and the Street of the Knights, the Upper Town is one of the most stunning urban combos of the Gothic era. In the Lower Town, Gothic structures coincide with mosques, public baths and other constructions dating from the Ottoman era.

Marmaris Castle & Museum

Marmaris' mountaintop castle (1522) was Süleyman the Magnificent's rally point for 200,000 troops, utilised to seize Hospitaller-held Rhodes. The castle accommodates a tiny Marmaris Museum, which displays amphorae, tombstones, figurines, oil lamps and other discoveries, plus from Knidos and Datça. Saunter the palaces walls and gaze along the crowded marina.

Marmaris Atlantis Waterpark

This place is an exceptional water park. Marvellous staff at the wave pool to make sure young kids didn't drift too far. The food offered is delightful and freshly cooked. The features are superb, you could stay all day for about £12 each but you have a wristband so you could leave and come back.

Carian Rock Tombs

Caunos became a major Carian city in 400 BC, one of the most stunning highlights of the site are the rock tombs carved in the shape of the porticoes of tiny Ionic temples. These are amid the most magnificent samples of Lycian type funerary structure in Turkey, but the builders were Carians.

Marmaris 19 May Youth Square

A huge enhancement over the ancient Tansas supermarket, Burger king and multi-levelled car park which used to be on this location. Currently there is a stunning fountain and water garden which offer not only a centerpiece but great water music events and open air concert coliseum.
