Sedir Island

Also familiar as Cleopatra Island, it’s a tiny island in the Gulf of Gökova of southwestern Aegean Sea off the shore of Ula, section of Mu?la Territory of Turkey. It is popular for its beach created from seashells. The natural sand was carried by ships from the Red Sea mainly for Cleopatra.

Kaunos

Kaunos was a major marine harbor, the past of which is assumed to go back till the 10th century BC. The most ancient discovery at the Kaunos archeological site is the neck of a Protogeometric amphora going back to the 9th century BC.

Marmaris Castle & Museum

Marmaris' mountaintop palace (1522) was Süleyman the Magnificent's gathering site for 200,000 forces, utilised to catch Hospitaller-held Rhodes. Hierapolis-Pamukkale

Iztuzu Beach

Lake Köyce?iz
