There are boat facilities, counting the Mouettes Genevoises motor-launches.

Palais des Nations

Musee d'Art et d'Histoire (Art and History Museum)

owing its outstanding selections to the union of many local museums, with calculated contributions from personal representatives. The outcome covers the areas of applied and fine art and archaeology, with a selection of weapons, Greek and Roman art treasures, Middle Eastern and Eastern Mediterranean antiques, Roman and Etruscan china, and Egyptian funerary art.

Monument de la Réformation (Reformation Monument)

The Promenade de la Treille is bordered with chestnut trees and provides sights of Mont Salève and the Jura. Against the wall beneath the boulevard, in the stunning Parc des Bastions, sits the Reformation Monument, built in 1917 in identification of Geneva's rule in the Protestant Reformation.

Ariana Museum

This museum is committed completely to ceramics and glass manufacture with a set of 25,000 samples from Switzerland, elsewhere in Europe, and the Middle and Far East. The items displayed explain the background of ceramic artwork from the former Middle Ages past the 20th century, detecting both the ceramic configuration and glazing methods.

Jardin Botanique (Botanical Gardens)

Set in 1902 to substitute a tinier one in the Parc des Bastions. Its greenhouses, gardens, and conservatory engulf around 28 hectares and highlight nearly 12,000 types of plants and trees. An Alpine Garden displays plants from Switzerland's tall altitudes, and the herbarium is one of the biggest in the world, with six million samples.

Quai du Mont-Blanc
