ABBA: The Museum and Swedish Music Hall of Fame
ABBA is a Swedish cultural phenomenon, so it is no surprise that this group has its own dedicated museum in the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. Tickets are issued to ensure each visitor has the ultimate experience at this modern interactive museum. Each ticket has a designated time so book in advance and enjoy your non-stop fix of ABBA music.
The Drottingholm Palace is one of three World Heritage Sites to be found in Stockholm and is the permanent residence of the royal family. The palace and the park are generally opened throughout the year and give visitors a glimpse into the country’s history as this seventeenth century palace is very well preserved.
Theatre buffs will enjoy the historic value of this theatre that still uses its original stage machinery regularly. The Chinese Pavilion is located within grounds of the fairytale palace, the Drottingholm palace, which is the permanent residence of the royal family. Birka was an important town during the times of the Vikings and is considered as one of Sweden’s first real towns. The National Maritime Museum
This Maritime Museum is a great way to learn about Sweden’s efforts to master the sea and the impact the sea had on society. The Royal Opera House
Whether you go on the guided tour or as a member of the audience you have to visit the magical Royal Opera House. It has been a venue for opera and ballet since 1773. If you opt to go on the guided tour you will have the amazing opportunity to see the backstage, the royal rooms and peek at the orchestra pit.
The Woodland Cemetery
