La Concha

One of the most iconic sights in San Sebastian is the picture perfect white sand beach of La Concha. Extending for more than a kilometer, it has a wide shoreline and beautiful turquoise waves. The gentle waters here are safe for swimming. Apart from that tourists can also enjoy sunbathing or a simple quiet stroll. The promenade is well lit with an elegant railing.

Ondaretta Beach

Onderetta Beach is busiest during the summertime when it fills up with holiday goers. This fine sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing, taking a walk and playing beach volleyball. Museo De San Telmo

Parte Vieja (Old Town)

The Old Town of San Sebastien has many balconied buildings line the square in which bullfights were once staged. Miramar Royal Palace

Designed in 1888 by Seldon Wornum of England, the Miramar Royal Palace is an English Tudor style palace. The palace was completed by Benito Olasagasti. It is surrounded by grounds that overlook the sea and was built as a vacation home for the Spanish royal family.

Amusement Park on Mount Igueldo

If you want a good view of San Sebastien scenery head over to Mount Igueldo as it stands 184 meters above the sea. The amusement park here has carousels and rollercoasters making it a good place for families with children. There is also a hotel here with a stylish restaurant and outdoor terrace.

Isla De Santa Clara

This island has been declared a Historical National Interest Sit, is 30 meters wide and located just off the coast perfectly combining peacefulness and civilization. Basilica De Santa Maria del Coro

This 18th century Baroque church is located at the foot of Monte Urgull. It is one of the mostvisited tourist sites in San Sebastien and was built on the site of an ancient Roman temple. The inner sanctuary boasts impressive pillars and neo-Gothic vaulting.

Aquarium Sea Palace

Located near the harbour, this popular tourist attraction is filled with colourful species from tropical fish to sharks. It also features an Oceanographic museum with exhibits of ship models, navigational instruments and documents. The main highlight of the museum is the Oceanarium which is an underwater exhibition space.

Surfer’s Beach

This well known beach is located in a commercial area of San Sebastien and has sports shops, department stores and art galleries.
