Your once-in-a-lifetime begins in Bangalore. Once you arrive at the international airport, you'll be received by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Once you're all settled, the holiday officially begins with an afternoon guided sightseeing walk around the city. After exploring the central district and seeing how it contrasts with the Silicon Valley-esque outskirts of Bangalore, you'll turn in for an overnight stay.

Majestic Mysore
Up next on your retreat is the royal city of Mysore! Get ready for a blast from the past as you visit the fort town of Seringapatam. You can still sense the history as you view the massive ramparts, battlements, and some of the remaining gates of the fort. Next, you get to experience Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary, which plays host to some of the most exquisite birds, including Pond Herons, Wild Ducks, open-billed storks, painted storks and more. Towards the end of the afternoon, you will have the option of transferring to a smaller rowboat, which will take you deeper into the narrow canals, which are unnavigable for larger houseboats.
