The airline tries to cut down costs as a part of a plan to improve annual earnings by 1.5 million Euros by year 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The two sides has been engaging in negotiations for the past 13 months and marked a turning point last week with a 24-hour strike affecting two thirds of flight cancellations. The nationwide strike resulted in hundreds of flight cancellations costing over 10 million Euros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, airlines such as British Airways, Air Berlin, Lufthansa unit Austrian Airlines have no impact from the strike.
