He purchased a mini archipelago consisting twelve islands known as Tetiaroa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After much island hopping, Marlon Brando opened a hotel but abandoned his dreams after a family tragedy in 1990s. The tragedy where his son (Christian) killed the boyfriend (Dag Drollet) of Brando\u2019s daughter (Cheyenne).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, years after his death in 2004, the actor\u2019s dreams are coming true. The eco resort, named as \u2018The Brando\u2019, will be open to the public in 2013. The island will comprise of 35 luxury villas with tropical amenities.
