On the 35th session at the UNESCO Headquarters, Paris \u2013 Bridgetown was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bridgetown was considered for its \u2018outstanding example of British colonial architecture which also reflects the Great Britain\u2019s Atlantic colonial empire \u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Furthermore, highlights the African and British historic heritage with the touch of Caribbean and Amerindian past. These are well preserved and best displayed through the museums in the city.
