The world was once wrapped around our finger like a ring and now, after a very infectious break up, we\u2019re all stuck in our houses, mostly eating anything we can find and binge-watching Netflix. Here\u2019s the thing, as great as Netflix is, you\u2019re bound to start thinking \u201cwhat else can I do?\u201d after some point. This is where taking virtual tours<\/span><\/strong><\/a> come into play \u2013 it\u2019s convenient, mostly available at all times and all it takes is a click instead of a trip<\/span><\/strong><\/a> that could possibly endanger your life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, let\u2019s be honest,\nyou\u2019re much more likely to scroll down on your phone than read a novel, stress\nabout curating a healthy meal or exercise, unless of course, you\u2019re a gym freak\nor you care about yourself unlike me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that being said, let\u2019s dive in and see what we have for you to escape the everyday blues we\u2019re all facing right now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Lizzie Borden House<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Story\ntime \u2013 on August 4th<\/sup>, 1892, Andrew Borden and his wife, Abby Borden\nwere brutally murdered in their own house by who many believe to be Lizzie\nBorden, the daughter of Andrew and Sarah Borden, his first wife. Both of the\nvictims were attacked not more than half an hour apart by a hatchet-like weapon\nthat left their bodies sinking in their own blood. I know, dark right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyways,\nafter this incident, Lizzie\u2019s only achievement in life was being a suspected\nmurderer and the house went on to become a popular tourist attraction (Cool.\nCause that\u2019s where everybody\u2019s mind goes when they\u2019re deciding what to do with\na house that had two brutal murders in it). With everything that\u2019s going on,\nyou can\u2019t even think about visiting, but taking a virtual tour of the very same\nhouse is possible. Plus, who knows? Maybe once this is all over, you can visit\nthe site for yourself and ask Andrew or Abby who did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I thought about ending it with the gloomy attractions but I can\u2019t help it, The Winchester Mystery House<\/span> is just so enigmatic and mind-boggling. The story goes that after losing both her husband, and baby daughter, Sarah Winchester reportedly contacted a psychic who told her that she would be haunted by the spirits of those who fell under the success of the Winchester rifles, and that she had to move west and continue building her house as a way of appeasing these entities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\nis what many believe to be the story of this landmark. Many tourists have\nreported paranormal activity and have speculated over the odd structure of the\nhouse \u2013 as the mansion is coated with staircases leading to dead ends, doorways\nto nowhere and hidden rooms (that are yet to be found).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the best part is that you don\u2019t even have to visit this house, you can have full virtual access to it and scroll through the hallways of the famed mansion and its equally daunting backstory from your couch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
