If you’ve been keeping up\nwith the news, then you’ll know that the Uk Foreign Office has issued a warning\nto avoid travel to Bolivia, after weeks of violent protests in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To back up, the UK Foreign Office released its statement on the 11th of November to warn against all but extremely essential travel to the South American country, since the political unrest poses a greater threat to the safety of both tourists and locals alike. The unrest arose following the resignation of Evo Morales, the former president of Bolivia on November 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former president’s\nfaithful followers made it a point to make their voice clear on the whole\nsituation and hence, the outburst of protests began as Morales supporters marched\nthe streets to let the new government know about their disapproval and demand that\nMorales be brought back to power. Unfortunately, two people were killed on\nWednesday in a commotion between Bolivian police and the supporters, no\nfatalities have been reported as of right now or after Wednesday, but this\nproves that travelling to Bolivia right now is critically unsafe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
