Emirates operate twice a week to <strong><a style=\"color:#E33779\" href=\"https:\/\/www.travelcenter.uk\/blog\/damascus-the-city-of-jasmine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Damascus<\/a><\/strong>. However, the airline stopped operations effective immediately until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\">The airline apologies for any inconvenience caused to its passengers. However states the safety of the passengers and crews is top priority and will not be comprised<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">This was a haste decision, which comes as a result of the closure of the main airport road. This is part of the uprising and due to the fierce battles between the regime force and rebels.
