The national carrier of Kuwait, Kuwait Airways<\/a><\/strong><\/span> has recorded a loss in all but one in the past 21 years costing to more than $ 280 million (80 million Kuwait Dinars). The loss is primarily due to rising costs relating to salaries of crewmembers and maintenance costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The airline<\/a><\/strong><\/span> further mentions to ground ageing aircrafts in their fleet. Two Boeing aircrafts acquired twenty years ago will be stopped due to major technical issues for the past few years.
